This app features quick settings tiles for Android N and a discrete notification that matches your launcher for Android 5.0* and above. It remains unobtrusive until you need it.
This compact app is particularly useful when you want to keep or share any media streaming during a voice call, or when physical volume buttons are inaccessible and you prefer touchscreen controls.
But it can also be a helpful tool when you need to quickly toggle background audio. Never wished you had it? Well, now you do!
This application is open source and requires no special permissions.

* For Android 4.x, please download the v0.9.5 release directly from GitHub: https://github.com/seht/volumenotification/releases/tag/v0.9.5
** Please note that if your phone controls both the notifications and ringer volume with the same slider, this app will be unable to control them separately.
